Business Agents and Managers: Past Business Agents Joel Ross Joel began his membership in Local 80 in 1949. He served on the Apprenticeship Committee & Executive Board, prior to being elected President of Local 80 in 1967. He was elected Business Manager in 1974 and served this office until 1982. In 1985 Joel was once again elected Business Manager and he served as Business Manager until the time of his death on March 3, 1995. Brother Ross was the longest serving Business Manager in Local 80 History. Joel loved his work and his brothers in Local 80. He was especially proud of his contribution in bringing health benefits to retirees through his long service as Trustee on the Medical and Pension Funds.
